Erus Ex Universitas Welcomes You
Welcome to the home of Erus Ex Universitas.
We originally came together as Erus Ex Istaria and quickly became a strong family of friends. As with all family we grow and sometimes move away. Such was the contingent that landed in Everquest II and became Erus Ex Norrath. After that we again found ourselves growing to add a third guild of Erus Ex Eberron of Dungeons & Dragons Online. Since then we have moved to Guild Wars and Vanguard but we found though that even though we moved to different games our friendships remained... and so instead of having multiple sites for each guild we created this site and Erus Ex Universitas was born. A place where we can all come and gather together as friends should.
NEW MEMBERS PLEASE READ HERE!
Once you have created your account please go to the groups window (found under the main menu) and choose the proper members group to join (Vanguard, Horizons, or Guild Wars). The Guild leader will approve you for the group within 24 hours. This is required to be able to post to your game's forums.

Site Update

Due to some issues being caused by one of the modules and an apparent malicious user, the site has been upgraded to the latest version of CMS software. There may be a few issues with the modules that need to be cleaned up, so just let us know if something doesn't appear right or is horribly broken. Apologies for the inconvenience!

Erus Ex Telon Defeats General Vicus

On 11/2/08 Erus Ex Telon took down General Vicus on their second attempt during this raid. Later in the raid they also took down Archon Travix.

Software Update

We will be updating the Site software (known as Dragonfly CMS) this weekend, May 13th. There may be some downtime required as we perform the update, but we are anticipating that it will be short, and will be completed early Sunday morning, so the outage impact will be minimal.

Client Vulnerability Report

EI Interactive's troubles continue. A report was filed on August 24th, 2006 and sent to EI Interactive and previous owners Tulga Games that chronicled all the ways their client was vulnerable to outside intruders, a source within the original development team confirms. They also notified MMORPG.com of this report.
After a 60 day moritorium without action, the report was released online today. EI Interactive then took their game servers offline and replaced the login screen with an new version as seen here. Since then, their servers have been up and down. It is unclear whether the vulnerabilities still exist based on today's action

Webserver upgrade

Apologies, folks. As the result of an urgent security update, I've reloaded the webserver with the latest OS and software. As a result, we were down a day last week, and also some parts of this site were down do to a configuration file that somehow escaped backup/restore.
Anyway, everything should be back to normal now. If you have any problems, please feel free to email me: maltavorn at sylea dot org.

Horizons Update

The following additions, changes and fixes were applied to Chaos and Order on Tuesday, February 21, 2006:
*Primal Rebirth now has an associated animation and particle effect.
*Updated Ryson Stormbringer's dialogue to be more up to date with the new tutorial.
*Added a quest to Ryson Stormbringer on Spirit Isle for new players as they complete the tutorial.
*Daknor the Berserk will now re-spawn more quickly.
*Stray buildings on Genevia removed.
*Plot sizes on Genevia continue to be adjusted.
*Greymane Wolves will now count towards the completion of the 'Attunement to Aden' quest.
